We get it — sometimes your eyes are bigger than your stomach, and you wake up to that beautiful box of leftover Task Force Pizza calling your name. But let’s be real: reheating it wrong can turn yesterday’s masterpiece into a sad, soggy slice.
So here’s how to bring it back to life like it just came out of our oven:
Unless you like rubbery cheese and limp crust (we don’t judge… much), don’t do it. Microwaves steam pizza, and that crispy bottom we worked so hard on deserves better.
Heat a non-stick skillet on medium.
Toss in your slice.
Cover it with a lid for 2–3 minutes to melt the cheese.
Then lift the lid and let it crisp up for another 1–2 minutes.
Crispy crust. Gooey cheese. Pure redemption.
If the crust’s a little dry, sprinkle a tiny bit of water around the slice before covering it in the skillet. It creates just enough steam to melt the cheese without softening the base.
Bonus Tip: If you’re really living your best life, drizzle a little ranch or garlic butter from Task Force over top before you reheat. You’re welcome. 😎
